Dan serves as the CIO and Treasurer of The Chick With Pits - if it has an electrical cord or involves finances, that's in his wheelhouse. He is a disabled veteran who served for 7 years in the United States Air Force and has over 10 years experience in many areas of IT. He is a full-time instructor for various IT subjects.

 

Joanna and Dan have been rescuing animals in an unofficial capacity since their relationship began in 2005. Unfortunately/fortunately, Dan has a major cat addiction and is constantly adding to his army of cats he calls The Thunderkittens.
